Implantation therapy
Dental implants are the culmination of the progress of dentistry, which is becoming increasingly prevalent in dental practice. Implant- is the titanium rod or “screw” which is inserted into the bone of the jaw to mimic the tooth root, coalesce with it and serves as a basis for upgrading the ceramic-metal crowns or dentures. All previous studies have shown that this type of therapy is the best replacement for natural missing tooth. Dental implants are biocompatible with the surrounding tissue and are completely binding with the bone. Allergic reactions and the possibility of rejection of the implant by the organism are kept to a minimum.
When it comes to losing one or more teeth, chewing is difficult and thus the process of digestion is disturbed. In order to prevent such a thing, implant therapy is a great solution.
The procedure of teeth installation is performed under local anesthesia. Immediately after the procedure, it is necessary listen to the advice of dentists and to maintain proper oral hygiene. Dental implants require the same care as real teeth, including regular washing and use of dental floss. Of course, regular dental visits are required, in order to monitor the process of adapting to the new environment of implant.
If you do not have severe systemic disease, and if you follow the instructions, the dental implant rejection is impossible. The implants behave very similar to natural teeth, and therefore represent the best replacement for lost teeth.
